PhD Course: Concept Analysis and Concept Based Retrieval
Registration

To attend please submit:

  • Affiliation details
  • A description of your phd project (0.5 to 1 page). The description must be detailed enough to make it possible for reviewers to establish that the course is relevant to the PhD project in question and that the student can derive maximum benefit from attending.
  • Proof of PhD status in the form of statement from supervisor or other verifiable evidence.

by email with subject "PhD Course" to the course secretary at the address below.

The deadline for submission is April 2, 2004.

A maximum of 20 students will be admitted to the course. Admission is, provided relevance of phd project for the course, on a first-come-first-served basis. Expect notification 1-2 weeks after submission.

In order to make the course participants acquainted with each other, each other's work and in order to stimulate mutual feed-back and discussions with the lecturers of the course, all students will be asked to present their projects to their fellow students at the morning session Monday May 10.

All project descriptions will be made publicly available on the course home page.

The student session will allow a total of 10 minutes for each student to present his or her project: The presentation will be restricted to 5 minutes followed by 5 minutes with questions and/or comments from the audience.
